It's a new everything around here lately. I'll have a new website up by the beginning of next month that will link to my "The Used Magician" social network. It's been an exciting few weeks. This blog is still under construction, but I wanted something for you to subscribe to at least.
Today is my last day off, not sure for how long. So I'm going to head out and promote the facebook Fan page as well as begin the transition to the new www.TheUsedMagician.com page.
In order to do that I am having to look around for a new deck of cards. Normally I just buy a new deck, but it's not economical when I already own so many. It's been quite the challenge. I used my last deck for about five months (almost exclusively) and the edges are now frayed as well as the entire deck becoming bowed. Not to mention that the card case has evaporated.
I began using David Blaine's "Lion Deck", but someone called me out on a certain magic move yesterday and now I want to switch decks. The db decks are a little thicker than normal cards in order to last longer, but it gets in the way of certain sleights.
Anyway, that's my update. I may send a text blog out later if promotion goes well. Be sure to click around the blog here as well as checking out the Fan page while I tidy things up.
A few things to note:
Tuesdays will feature a new poll from the Facebook page
Thursdays will feature a new video upload on the Steve TV tab from The Used Magician YouTube channel
and the rest of the week is pretty much the same as the old blog.
